We are seeking a dedicated and organized Neurologist to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a Neurologist at Radius TBI, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with brain and central nervous system disorders. Your primary focus will be on TBI and concussion while also addressing general neurology cases. You will conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients through comprehensive examinations, memory tests, and movement activities.
- Analyze test results and set patient-specific goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medications and therapies.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient adherence.
- Document patient records, symptoms, and treatment progress (medical scribe/M.A. support provided).
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about treatment progress and future goals.
- Conduct research to enhance patient care and treatment methods.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree with clinical residency from an LCME-accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
- Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and compliance with local state requirements.
- Three years of residency training in neurology.
- A strong desire to help improve patients’ daily lives, demonstrating compassion and sensitivity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients and families.
- Great interpersonal skills and a patient-centered demeanor.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Day Shift, Monday to Friday
- Work Location: In-person sessions in Orlando
- Pay: $150-$200 per hour
- Expected Hours: 8-16 hours per week
